How long it takes
We aim to reply within two working days. We are a small team, so occasionally it takes a little longer — but every message is answered.
I installed Nullbar and nothing is blocked
Safari keeps content blockers behind its own switch. Open Nullbar once, then go to Safari → Settings → Extensions and tick the six “Nullbar — …” entries. Reload the page afterwards.
The blockers are not listed in Safari
Safari only lists blockers from an app it has been told about. Make sure Nullbar is in your Applications folder and has been opened at least once, then quit and reopen Safari.
A site is broken. What now?
Add that site under Allowed sites in Nullbar and reload the page. The exception reaches all six blockers, so the page will load exactly as its authors intended. Telling us which site it was helps us improve the lists.
Does Nullbar block ads inside other apps or browsers?
No. Nullbar works inside Safari only. Ads shown inside other applications, and pages loaded in Chrome or Firefox, are outside what a Safari content blocker can reach.
Which macOS versions are supported?
macOS 14 and later.
What to include when reporting a problem
Your macOS version, your Safari version, the address of the page, and which of the six blockers were switched on. That lets us reproduce the problem far faster than a description alone.
