Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 June 2026
PetHealth is private by design. The app has no accounts and no sign-up, and it does not collect, store or transmit personal data itself. This policy explains the two limited areas where third parties are involved — advertising and in-app purchases — and the choices you have.
No accounts, no personal data
You can use PetHealth without creating an account or providing any personal information — no name, no email address, no phone number. We do not operate servers that receive your data, we do not track your location, and we have no way of identifying who you are.
Your pets' records stay on your device
Everything you enter in PetHealth — pet profiles, vaccination logs, medications, weight entries and vet notes — is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded to us. Deleting the app permanently deletes this data; device backups that you control (such as iCloud or Android backup) may include it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
PetHealth shows ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device identifiers (such as the iOS Identifier for Advertisers, IDFA, or the Android advertising ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad-interaction data. This collection is governed by Google's own terms — see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Your advertising choices (ATT and ad personalisation)
On iOS, PetHealth asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before the IDFA is used for personalised ads; if you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalised using that identifier. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation under Settings → Google → Ads. Where required by law (for example under the UK GDPR), a consent dialogue lets you choose between personalised and non-personalised ads.
In-app purchases
Optional purchases (for example, removing ads) are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Purchases are tied to your store account and can be restored through the same store; Apple's and Google's privacy policies govern the payment processing.
We do not sell or share your data
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with data brokers, and we hold no personal data to sell — the app simply does not send us any. The only third-party data flows are the advertising and purchase processing described above.
Children
PetHealth is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ad serving is configured through Google AdMob's tools in line with applicable children's privacy rules.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
