Private screenshot redaction

Share screenshots, not secrets.

Veilshot finds the email addresses, phone and card numbers, API keys, passwords and faces in a screenshot and hides them in one tap, before the image leaves your phone.

What it catches

The details you didn't mean to share

Contact details

Email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses and postcodes are found and hidden.

Card and bank details

Card numbers are checked with the Luhn algorithm, so order numbers aren't flagged, and IBANs are checksum-validated.

Keys, tokens and passwords

API keys and tokens for services such as AWS, GitHub, Stripe and Slack, JWTs and private keys, plus passwords and secrets written out in a chat.

Private links and IP addresses

Links that carry tokens, signatures or session codes are caught, along with IP addresses.

Faces

Faces in screenshots and photos are spotted and hidden too.

Your own words

With Pro, add a client's name or a project codename and Veilshot hides it automatically.

Good to know

Private by design, simple to use

Pick, check, share

Pick a screenshot or photo and everything sensitive is outlined and hidden. Tap a box to show or hide it, draw your own, then choose Blur, Pixelate or Black out and share a clean copy.

Nothing leaves your phone

Images are scanned entirely on your phone, with no account and no cloud. Blur and pixelate shrink the hidden area to a few pixels first, so the text can't be recovered, and exports carry no location or camera metadata.
