PlantBuddy is developed by BEK Service Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data the app handles and the choices you have. The short version: we built PlantBuddy so that we do not need your data.

No accounts, no personal data

PlantBuddy has no accounts and no sign-up. The app itself does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Your plants, reminders, notes and photos are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete the app.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

PlantBuddy shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads — including personalized ads where permitted — AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA on iOS or the Android advertising ID) and usage signals.

On iOS, personalized advertising only happens if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in system settings.

In-app purchases

Optional purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive or store your payment details.

Your data is not for sale

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share data with third parties except as described above for advertising (Google AdMob).

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
