The short version. LineFill does not require an account and does not collect personal data directly. Two Google SDKs are embedded: AdMob (to show ads, including a personalised-ad opt-in) and Firebase Crashlytics (to receive crash reports). Game progress is stored locally on your device. Questions: [email protected].
Who we are
LineFill (the “App”) is published by BEK SERVICE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12590587), 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. LineFill has no user accounts, no login, no server backend operated by BEK SERVICE LTD. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera data. All game progress, settings, and purchase status are saved to a local file (LineFill.json) inside the App’s sandbox on your device. Uninstalling the App deletes this file.
What our SDKs collect
The App embeds two Google SDKs that operate independently of us. We list exactly what each one does:
Google AdMob
AdMob shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads inside the App. To do so it processes:
- The advertising identifier on your device (IDFA on iOS, GAID/AAID on Android), if you have not reset or disabled it.
- Device information: model, OS version, screen size, language, coarse country (derived from IP).
- Ad interaction signals: impressions, clicks, video completions.
On iOS 14.5 and later, the App displays Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before AdMob is allowed to access the IDFA. If you decline, AdMob serves non-personalised ads instead.
On Android the App requests user consent under the Google User Messaging Platform where required (UK / EEA / Switzerland).
Removing ads via the in-app purchase remove_ads disables banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads remain available because they are opt-in (you tap a button to watch one in exchange for hints).
AdMob is governed by Google’s policies: policies.google.com/privacy.
Firebase Crashlytics
Crashlytics is the only Firebase product LineFill enables. When the App crashes it uploads:
- The stack trace of the crash.
- Device model and OS version.
- An anonymous installation ID generated by Firebase (resets when you reinstall the App).
Crashlytics does not collect your name, email, the IDFA, the contents of game saves, or screenshots. We use it strictly to find and fix bugs. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
We have not enabled Firebase Analytics, Firebase Messaging, Firebase Remote Config, or any other Firebase product. If that changes we will update this page.
In-app purchases
LineFill offers two kinds of in-app purchase: remove_ads (non-consumable, one-time) and hint packs (consumables). Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see your card details, billing address, or Apple/Google account email. The platform returns a receipt to the App, which we use only to unlock the purchased item; the receipt is stored locally.
Cookies and web tracking
This site (the page you are reading) is a plain static HTML page served by Cloudflare Pages. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no fingerprinting, no third-party scripts other than the Google Fonts stylesheet on the landing page. The App itself is native and does not use cookies.
Children
LineFill is rated 4+ on the App Store and Everyone on Google Play. It is not directed specifically at children under 13, and we have not enrolled the App in Apple’s Kids Category or Google’s Designed for Families programme; we therefore do not treat the App as subject to COPPA. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, regardless of age. If you believe a child has provided personal data to a third party through the App, contact us and we will investigate.
Your rights (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA)
Because we do not collect personal data directly, there is no BEK SERVICE LTD data store to access, correct, port, or delete. Your statutory rights are exercised against the SDK operators:
- Opt out of personalised ads: on iOS, Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, disable “Allow Apps to Request to Track”. On Android, Settings > Google > Ads, enable “Opt out of Ads Personalization” or delete the advertising ID. You can also opt out from inside LineFill: Settings > Privacy > Personalised Ads.
- Reset your advertising ID: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Reset Advertising Identifier; Android Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID.
- Access / delete data Google holds: myaccount.google.com/privacy.
California residents have the additional right under the CCPA to opt out of the “sale” of personal information. We do not sell personal information; the SDKs above process data under their own contractual terms, which Google describes as a service-provider relationship under the CCPA.
Data transfers
Google operates Crashlytics and AdMob globally; data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers out of the UK / EEA.
Retention
BEK SERVICE LTD retains no user data. AdMob and Crashlytics retain data according to Google’s retention policies linked above. Local data on your device is retained until you delete the App.
Changes to this policy
If we change which SDKs the App embeds, or how they are configured, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and describe the change here. Material changes will additionally be flagged inside the App on next launch.
