Website audit and EU accessibility report

Two tools on the Apify Store that check a website and return a report you can read or send on. Run them by hand, or on a schedule from Zapier.

The two tools

Website Audit: SEO, WCAG Accessibility & AI-Readiness

Opens up to the number of pages you choose on each site, in a real browser, and checks SEO basics, WCAG accessibility (with axe-core) and how readable the site is for AI search tools. You get one row per page and a summary per site with scores, the main issues and a link to an HTML report.

EU Accessibility Act (EAA) Report: WCAG 2.2 & EN 301 549

Checks pages against WCAG 2.2 level A and AA and maps each failure to the matching clause of EN 301 549, the standard behind the European Accessibility Act. It also looks for an accessibility statement and drafts one for you to review.

Price

You pay Apify per result. There is no subscription with us.

ToolPer page checkedPer site report
Website Audit$0.02$0.25
EAA Report$0.02$1.00

Example: a 10-page website audit costs $0.45; a 10-page EAA report costs $1.20. The computing time is included in these prices.

Run them from Zapier

Apify has an official app on Zapier, so these tools work in a Zap with no code. You need a free Apify account and a Zapier account; connect Apify in Zapier with your Apify API token (Apify Console → Settings → API & Integrations).

A site check can take longer than Zapier waits for one step. The recipes below therefore use two Zaps: one starts the run, the other picks up the result when the run has finished.

Recipe 1: audit my website every week and log the scores in Google Sheets

Zap A, start the audit

  1. Trigger: Schedule by Zapier → Every Week (pick a day and time).
  2. Action: Apify → Run Actor. Actor: bekservice-ltd/website-audit-seo-accessibility-ai. Input:
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://www.example.com" }],
  "maxPagesPerSite": 10
}

Zap B, save the result

  1. Trigger: Apify → Finished Actor Run, for the same Actor.
  2. Action: Apify → fetch the run’s dataset items (the items with type = site are the summaries).
  3. Action: Google Sheets → Create Spreadsheet Row, with the site, the date, the scores and the report link.

Recipe 2: send the EAA report to my inbox every month

  1. Zap A: Schedule by Zapier → Every Month, then Apify → Run Actor with bekservice-ltd/eaa-accessibility-report and:
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://www.example.com" }],
  "maxPagesPerSite": 10,
  "organisationName": "Example Ltd",
  "contactEmail": "[email protected]"
}
  1. Zap B: Apify → Finished Actor Run, fetch the dataset items, then Gmail (or Email by Zapier) → send the summary, the priorities and the links to the report and the draft accessibility statement.

Small site? One Zap is enough

For a few pages, Apify’s Run Actor and Fetch Results action starts the run and returns the results in one step, as long as the run finishes within about five minutes.

What the reports are, and are not

Automated checks find many accessibility problems, but not all of them, and they cannot judge every WCAG criterion. The EAA report is a starting point for your own review; it is not legal advice and not a certificate of conformance.
