Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Spinlane does with your information. It is written to be read, not to be survived: if a section is missing below, it is because that kind of data is not involved at all.
Who we are
Spinlane is developed and published by BEK Service Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. BEK Service Ltd is responsible for the app and is the controller of any personal data described in this policy.
- Store listing: “Spinlane: DJ Mixer & AI Stems” — Google Play (com.bekservice.spinlane)
- Developer: BEK Service Ltd
- Legal name: BEK SERVICE LTD
- Registered office: 20-22 Wenlock Road, LONDON, N1 7GU, United Kingdom
What we collect
Spinlane separates a music file you choose into stems (vocals, drums, bass and other) on our own servers. The file is uploaded to our servers together with a random identifier the app creates for your device, so that your stems, your weekly allowance and your purchases stay yours. The uploaded file is deleted as soon as its stems are ready, and within 24 hours at the latest. The stems are kept for 48 hours so the app can download them, then deleted automatically; you can delete them sooner from inside the app. Your music is processed by our own computers, is not sent to any other company's AI service, and is never used to train any model. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. Our servers also receive the technical details any request carries, such as your IP address, which we use only to run the service and protect it from abuse. We do not sell any of this, and we do not share it except with the service providers named in this policy.
Advertising
Spinlane shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google may process device information such as a device advertising identifier, general location inferred from an IP address, and basic interaction data. This processing is carried out by Google, not by us, under Google's own privacy policy.
Ads in this app are configured as NON-PERSONALISED: they are not selected using a profile of your past behaviour, and the app does not ask permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Purchases
Spinlane offers in-app purchases. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or store your payment details. The app receives only a confirmation that a purchase is valid, so it can unlock what you bought.
Deleting your account
You can delete any separated track, or your whole account, at any time from inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes any uploaded file and stems still stored and your link to any purchase from our servers. Only an anonymous count of how many tracks were used this week and month is kept until that period ends, so that deleting cannot reset the free allowance. You can also ask us to do it by email. Purchases themselves are recorded by Apple or Google, under their own privacy policies.
Keeping your data safe
Data that stays on your device is protected by your device's own security. Where the app does communicate over the network, it does so over an encrypted connection.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — the uploaded files, stems and anonymous identifier described above — and to object to its processing. Contact us and we will respond; you can also delete your account from within the app, which deletes that data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new effective date.
