Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Snoutrait does with your information. It is written to be read, not to be survived: if a section is missing below, it is because that kind of data is not involved at all.
What we collect
Snoutrait creates what you ask for on our own servers. To do that, the text you enter (for example a description or lyrics) is sent to our servers together with a random identifier the app creates for your device, so that your creations, your daily allowance and your purchases stay yours. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. We keep what you create, and the text you entered for it, so you can open it again, until you delete it or delete your account from inside the app. Our servers also receive the technical details any request carries, such as your IP address, which we use only to run the service and protect it from abuse. We do not sell any of this, and we do not share it except with the service providers named in this policy.
Advertising
Snoutrait shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google may process device information such as a device advertising identifier, general location inferred from an IP address, and basic interaction data. This processing is carried out by Google, not by us, under Google's own privacy policy.
Ads in this app are configured as NON-PERSONALISED: they are not selected using a profile of your past behaviour, and the app does not ask permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Purchases
Snoutrait offers in-app purchases. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or store your payment details. The app receives only a confirmation that a purchase is valid, so it can unlock what you bought.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. That permanently removes your device's identifier, everything you created with it and your allowance from our servers. You can also ask us to do it by email. Purchases themselves are recorded by Apple or Google, under their own privacy policies.
Keeping your data safe
Data that stays on your device is protected by your device's own security. Where the app does communicate over the network, it does so over an encrypted connection.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — the creations and anonymous identifier described above — and to object to its processing. Contact us and we will answer; you can also delete your account from within the app, which deletes that data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new effective date.
