This Privacy Policy describes how BlockBuster ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile application. BlockBuster is developed and published by BEK SERVICE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12590587). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data practices associated with the App.
Information We Collect
BlockBuster does not require user accounts and does not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. However, the App integrates third-party services that may collect certain data automatically:
Google AdMob (Advertising)
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect the following information to serve personalized ads:
- Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
- Device information (model, operating system, screen size)
- IP address (used for approximate location)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
You may purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase to permanently remove banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads (opt-in only) remain available even after this purchase.

Google Firebase Analytics
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve the user experience. Firebase Analytics may collect:
- App usage data (screens viewed, features used, session duration)
- Game progress events (level starts, completions, hints used)
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics (via Firebase Crashlytics)
- Device information (model, operating system version)
- Anonymized, aggregate usage statistics

In-App Purchases
The App offers in-app purchases including ad removal, hint packs, and level unlocks. All payment transactions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment or financial information. Purchase status (e.g., whether ads have been removed) is stored locally on your device. Please refer to the privacy policies of Apple or Google for details on how they handle purchase data.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS 14 and later, the App will request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You can change this permission at any time in your device Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Data Storage
All game progress, settings, hint tokens, and purchase status are stored locally on your device using platform-standard storage. This data is not transmitted to any server. If you delete the App, this local data will be removed.
Data Processing
All data collected by the third-party SDKs described above is processed by Google in accordance with their respective privacy policies. We do not have direct access to or control over the raw data these services collect. We access only aggregated, anonymized reports through the service dashboards.
Opting Out of Personalized Ads
You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:
- iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track." You can also enable "Limit Ad Tracking" under Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
- Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads, and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID."
Note that opting out does not eliminate ads; it means the ads shown will be less relevant to your interests.
Children's Privacy
BlockBuster is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us at the email address below, and we will take steps to address the situation.
Your Rights (UK GDPR / GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Request data portability
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (California residents)

Data Retention
Since BlockBuster does not directly collect personal data, we do not maintain user data stores. Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their own data retention policies. Game progress is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to any server.
